They could have easily done a lot of scenes using cgi, but they decided to build it by hand. Huge respect

honestly, i watched this movie when i was younger and it always gave me a creepy vibe. i never knew it was horror cause i always thought horror movies were showing people dying and shit like that. and i honestly would've never guessed this movie was stop-motion. one of the best movies for sure.

I just watched Coraline the other day, and the fact that it wasn't computer animated has blown me away. 😀

Everyone's loving on the animators and while I wholeheartedly agree, I also want to acknowledge the amazing composers/musicians. The soundtrack was so good

If it would've been animated, I wouldn't even like the movie as much. Stop-motion makes it special, it gives it vibes I didn't know existed untill i watched the movie. I like to watch it on rainy days because it makes the vibe even better. It's different and unique and people took alot of time to make this, the patience these people have is incredible. I love this movie, the stop-motion features, the rainy season in the movie, the plot, the nostalgia, the styles, the features, the voice actors and basically everything is amazing, unique, special and just different. It's really different. It has amazing vibes idk how to really describe.

"And that's a wrap-up, team. How much did we get?" "Six seconds, boss!" "Amazing! I think that's a record! Great job, team!"

A live action would ruin the beauty and creation of this truly amazing movie

This is all insane, but the sweater lady takes the cake. I'm a knitter, and that's insane. I find size four yarn too thin and fiddly to work with, and here she is knitting with thread and hair-thin needles and having her stitches be perfect. Holy shit, massive props. I love this movie so much

Can we just appreciate the fact that they worked so hard to make the movie?
