I think JQ needs a slight buff to walk speed and heal a little more off adrenaline rush. That way her current play style is preserved but she becomes a bit more viable. Her staying power is by harassing and CD management, rather than Orisa where you cycle through your CDs with 5-second gap where you can take un mitigated dmg, or Hog who can only be dealt with focus fire and headshots, otherwise, he will heal off 75% of what has been done.

IMO, I feel like JQ needs more health. But I think an interesting way of doing it would be making wounds' healing extend JQ's health. So if she hit five heroes with her ult, she'd get like 2k effective health that fades over time. Since her damage isn't that great and wounds can be countered on other heroes, making JQ be effectively be unkillable for a few seconds would make her ult stronger and her mechanical identity more unique.

Just give her slightly more health and more health regen. The reason she is so unplayable now is due to her being so squishy and being less able to hold space as a tank. A slight speed increase on the animation for carnage would be nice as well. This would make her personally more survivable while not breaking her by buffing the shout which was the main issue that forced her hard meta on release. Allowing her to stay in the fights longer would increase her damage naturally without needing to actually change her damage numbers at all theoretically. I would argue that rampage is even fine despite kiriko as you just need to wait for the cleanse to use it. Same as alot of ults... I always wait for a dva to lose mech before I throw a blizz or grav... same idea. Great video!

Nice. I honestly think there's better plays Hanbin could have made since this is random match-up environment, not a scrim. I don't think his methodical playstyle would work too well on the ladder we all play!
At 9:09 in this environment if he just made sure he had the attention of his team, he IMO should definitely have just popped shout + ult at full health to get to the position where he is at 9:22 and then hold W into the Widowmaker and rotate around back out to make space for your team of randoms. Yes, Kiriko would cleanse, but if you can collapse their backline while baiting Suzu it's a much better position for your team than what happened at 9:22 anyway.
1:30 is also another good example of how I think ladder play Junker Queen will be different. When that Orisa casually walked out past the corner to the car that's when you have to move back to the choke with Junker Queen. You can't contest her there, and it was only really lucky that the Hanjo was low enough to get a pick. I've noticed when I play Junker Queen against Orisas I have to play JQ as if I'm another Orisa trying to claim the same corners of the map. 3:40 is another example where I think he should have contested that corner on the ground against Orisa, because dropping down on her like that never works as you can't force evict her. If you try to use e.g. axe after jumping down on an Orisa it's just not going to work. If you contest the corner it will give your damage and support a little bit better ability to fire down on them. That corner poke situation is where Junker Queen will have highest damage potential against another tank, so perhaps a bit ironically I think Junker Queen can be better on defense on a lot of payload maps because the tank will have to walk into you, and once they start giving up space you can run in and follow it up. When that happens the support and damage will also run closer to you, so you may be able to get cheeky picks with knife and axe.
Just my experience, what people easily can handle is a Junker Queen trying to run up to them, but not so much when she's already on top of them.

I think Junker Queen’s Commanding Shout should get reduced cooldown the more you land her abilities and stay in the fight. If Carnage or Jagged Blade lowered the cooldown of Commanding shout by a second or two every time you landed it, it would incentivize you to keep fighting. It would also make up for JQ low health pool.
