Fun fact about this song is that Chad was the first one at the studio playing the drum beat to this song that day just warming up. John was the 2nd one at the studio then picked up the guitar and played the guitar part to what Chad was playing then BOOM just like that they had the self title song to this album. Crazy how fast a song can form. Anthony and Flea then showed up after and finished the deal. Love this band and CAN NOT wait for what is coming 2020 and on. Completely ecstatic that John is back!!!!!! RHCP FOREVER!!!!!!

This album was one of those "right place, right time" albums for me. I was 18 and had found out that my girlfriend at the time was knocked up. Tons of emotion at the time. Dreams of going off to college got the axe. No time to ease into growing up. I listened to both of those disks sooooo many times wondering how the hell I was going to pull off being a dad at such a young age. This album helped me through some tough times. Pulls at the heart strings.

Bells around Saint Petersburg When I saw you I hope I get what you deserve And this is where I find Smoke surrounds your perfect face And I'm falling Pushing a broom out into space And this where I find the way The stadium arcadium A mirror to the moon (a mirror to the moon) Well I'm forming and I'm warning State of the art Until the clouds come crashing Stranger things have happened Both before and after noon (before and after noon) Well I'm forming and I'm warning Pushin' myself And no I don't mind asking Now Alone inside my forest room And it's storming I never thought I'd be in bloom But this is where I start Derelict days and the stereo plays For the all night crowd That it cannot phase And I'm calling Tedious weeds that the media breeds But the animal gets what the animal needs And I'm sorry The stadium arcadium A mirror to the moon (a mirror to the moon) Well I'm forming and I'm warning State of the art Until the clouds come crashing Stranger things have happened Both before and after noon (before and after noon) Well I'm forming and I'm warming Pushin' myself And no I don't mind asking Now And this is where I find Rays of dust that wrap around Your citizen Kind enough to disavow And this is where I stand The stadium arcadium A mirror to the moon (a mirror to the moon) Well I'm forming and I'm warning State of the art Until the clouds come crashing Stranger things have happened Both before and after noon (before and after noon) And I'm forming and I'm warning Pushin' myself And no I don't mind asking The stadium arcadium A mirror to the moon (a mirror to the moon) Well I'm forming and I'm warning State of the art Until the clouds come crashing Stranger things have happened Both before and after noon (before and after noon) Well I'm forming and I'm warning To you

I heard this song 8 years ago and couldn't find it because I didn't ask the name. I knew it was a RHCP song though. Now I found it. Super happy. Underrated song.

Frusciante is a musical genius. Taking those musical elements derived from Hendrix. . . Absolutely majestic man.

2:11 such a beautiful path that Frusciante chose to follow. When his voice fades out it makes me cry almost every time

I can't explain what my feelings are when I hear this song, maybe happiness ?! maybe sadness ?! or would it be nostalgic ?! I really don't know! I know when I hear a smile come into my mouth and my eyes are filled with tears, I don't know for you but for me this is incredible, this is beautiful !! I know that not many people know this song, but I want to spread it around the world. Scream to the world Stadium Arcadium ❀

Heartbreakingly beautiful. Tricky Johnny's guitar solo ....... Off the hook amazing. Anthony's vocals perfectly pitched, sublimely melancholic. Splendid record. Love and best wishes to all.πŸ‘ŒπŸ’™.

I was 15 working with my parents picking palmetto berry down in FL. Always listened to this while my dad drove down I-95 with the sun setting in the evening & the wind filling our truck on our way to sell the berry. John's solo in this particular song always mesmerized me & still does. Dang I miss those simple days, make memories while you can.

Not only one of my absolute favorite songs from this album, but one of my absolute favorites of theirs throughout their discography. Many would put Wet Sand or Death of a Martian above it (can't blame them), but this song has such a soothing and mysterious vibe to it. It's energetic and uplifting, but calming at the same time.
