I said most things in the video. You folks were interested in the last original song I had to do for a class so here's this one! It's fun and different because I was on a TIGHT deadline making this (and many other projects), but I had to get it done. So it's not as lyrically focused as some of my other songs. (Usually I start with lyrics that come to me on their own time but for this I just had to come up with random stuff to fit the constraints/timeline of the project.)

So I just started with the BEAT (and extremely basic electric piano) and experimented and went from there. Came up with some generally heartbreak-ey lyrics.

I ALSO used this song for an audio/studio class project where we had to mess around with reverb/delay and I wanted to dry that out on lead vocal singing, harmonies, and spoken word type stuff? So that's kinda where that came from. anyway comment below what my rapper name should be.

This reminds me a little of posting the "Everything I Wanted" cover years ago and how it was a bit more electronically driven than my usual piano/guitar/singing stuff. And some people were like what the hell are u doing. The answer to that is just a bit of production fun.

Anyway hope you enjoy this guy!! I've been halfway through my next cover for a while but I'm super excited to post that one because I'm recording it on a NEW MICROPHONE (rented) - it is an upgrade!!
