When I first heard this song years ago, the very first thought I had was "It sounds like something Taylor would write" Not the music per say, but the lyrics specifically. Then years later I find out she actually did write it, and it all made sense! Now listening to her cover it, I wouldn't say it's better than the original, but I would say that it sounds natural. It doesn't sound like an artist singing someone else's song. It sounds like it was always hers to begin with. I love it â¤
