I love his tactic of saying very little and letting the people he's interviewing make the content for him, people will say the wackest stuff if you don't interrupt them

Showing not telling is some of the best art a journalist or storyteller can use

For me, the impressive part is that when he does have to talk he plays the straight, naive role so well, he doesn't smile or break character he just feigns ignorance and makes them explain whatever it is.

One man outperforming CNN, BBC and Fox. Legend.

I've said this on other videos but i genuinely believe Andrew is fixing journalism. Even if he doesn't know it. It's almost bizarre how much respect he has among accomplished journalists.

Psychologically speaking, silence is an incredible way to prompt someone to speak. When someone feels like finishing, if you say nothing and stare them dead in the eye, the silence makes them uncomfortable, and in an effort to break the silence, the other person speaks. He uses it effectively in the interview with the news cameraman, calling him a liar without saying a single Goddamned word. Genius.

Andrew really is the GOAT, seen him around LA and he's always right in the mix with everything doing stuff most journalists would be too scared to do.

I’ve never personally known him but he went to my school, I was in 6th grade and he was like a junior, he was like the class clown and so charismatic. I love seeing this growth I’ve followed all of his media ever since he graduated I’m so proud hahaha

I am a journalist and one of the most important things you learn for interviews is not saying anything. People hate silence so if you stay quiet, the people you interview hate the silence and will begin to fill in the space and keep talking which ultimately ends in nonsense. Thats what Andrew uses to his advantage and it works.

Little known fact: corporate media used to employ actual journalists who, similar to Andrew, used to do the legwork and find interesting stories and people to interview.

The comedy mixed in with observation is really what makes his content entertaining yet informative. Thanks for covering Andrew!

As someone who’s been watching since y’all’s lacrosse days, it’s dope to see the shift you guys have made and that every video is relevant to watch I watch everyday

Every single video Andrew releases is legitimately a banger. I truly believe he's the most consistently excellent creator on YT today.

I proudly rock his merchandise. Where I’m from the 24 hour surveillance hoodie I wear from them is controversial and makes people think I’m a snitch. And because of it, it shows the fear and manipulation we’ve done to ourselves. Channel 5 is so humanizing and real that it makes me understand the sides of people that I wouldn’t normally take so seriously.

You forgot the most amazing thing about his videos: IN EVERY VIDEO HE GETS SOMEONE TO FREESTYLE!
