What should NASCAR and Goodyear do going forward to address tire issues?

Kevin was a great driver and is becoming a good media guy. I compare him to Ned Jarrett . Personable, intelligent and easy to listen to.

This past weekend at Bristol was a much needed wake up for the whole industry. Kevin didn't say directly but I will, the industry had gotten complacent with the quality of the tires being so good in the sense of having grip for the entire life of the tire. I love it that the race was placed squarely into the hands of the teams and the drivers. We all have needed this shake up wake up for a long time.

Harvick has immediately become the most insightful analyst on air anywhere. He embodies the new breed of driver - smart, professional, relatable and fun to listen to.

During the race/broadcast I really liked Kevin's description of cars using up tires. "XYZ has shut off". That was spot on. 👍👍

I enjoy Kevin Harvicks commentating. Reminds me of Ned Jarrett factual. I have talked to Rick Mears several times and he and Kevin very similar Bakersfield California guys.

Less camber would've helped a bit but it sure did make the end of the race pretty exciting to watch.

I feel the drivers were asking for tire fall off, meaning loss of speed. Not tire fall apart, which is what Bristol was.

I think Kevin's take on this is 1000% correct. Keep the tire and let the teams adjust to it and the next race will probably show slightly better wear but still force the drivers to figure out how to manage their tires to have speed later in the run.

I think it may have also helped that Bubba does drive the 23 car which Denny co-owns to why Bubba moved out of the way but Truex got partially blocked

How about the resin instead of PJ-1? Or maybe the left over dirt from the dirt races? When they clean all the dirt from the track after the dirt races, do they take sample tests of the cleaned surface to see how many particles per thousand of dirt still on track? Wouldn't take much dirt to slow the whole field down!

The solution is to go to 1000HP. That would mean more pitstops for fuel, and more tires also.

Wishing I lived there right now to get the odds offered on SVG in both cup and xfinity races. So long as the car is good and he doesn’t get involved in someone else’s accident I think he’ll win both. To simply suggest everything was going for him at Chicago ignores the fact that the other drivers had been driving in those cars prior to the event. He hadn’t but now he has and more accustomed to sitting and shift changing on the left side. He’s been to this track in a supercar as well. I’ll be interested to hear the comments after the coming weekend.

Harvick’s Minions or Happy’s Minions? Your yellow face sign reminds me of the minions & we follow you like they follow Gru. You’re a badass like Gru, playing the villain at times, but being a real softie. I would be proud to be a Minion.

I find it funny how people are baffled about the tires Dropping tons of dirt on a solid surface, the running cars on it to grind it in. Didn't expect any different
