I'm not a mom and I didn't know that anyone could feel like an imposter as a mom (I thought it only applied to career). But once I heard a quote like "really bad mothers don't even think about if they are bad or not. If you doubt your parenting, there's 99 percent chance that you're a good mom"

I was on BBC radio last week. It's my third time now, but I'm still convinced the reason they called me is because no one else was available. And I've spent so much time feeling terrible about the things I've said and that it's not good enough.. My partner found the interview and put it on a speaker because he's clearly proud of me. But I thought I'd die 😂🔊😁 Let's keep moving, ladies ✨

Interesting take! I love the reframing approach since we can decide which meaning we give to certain things and feelings. The only thing I would add is that you don't necessarily have to feel like an imposter if you try new things. You can be conscious that the thing you are doing is new for you, that growth lies beyond that but I don't have to feel like an imposter if I know that this is part of my identity: the willingness to grow.

This video just described what i I'm feeling and reacting for years ,Just the mere knowledge of what is this is relieving, that I know the probability that I'm actually good at things I'm questioning myself in

You’re amazing and I loved this take- as I used to hate people putting me down by comments like “you don’t give yourself enough credit”, “you always put yourself down”- well that’s cos I’m not happy with who I am cos I know I can do better! So eff off.

Absolutely AMAZING point of view. I have taken so many steps back in my life because I feel that I am not good enough. From now on I will take all the growing chances that come to me. Life changing video. Thank you queen!

Imposter Syndrome can be such a challenge, and this video offers some great strategies to overcome it. I especially liked the idea of keeping a 'victory file' to remind yourself of your accomplishments. Thanks for sharing these valuable insights.

Another great video! Informative, well explained, very helpful! Please do a video on learned helplessness and self sabotage, especially but not limited to, from prolonged narcissistic abuse. Thank you!

I think people feel imposter syndrome when they actually sense everyone else wants them to fail.

I've never suffered Imposter syndrome because I've always been realistic and honest about my abilities and aware that I'm continually learning about the world: life is a journey until our death and not a destination. At every job interview, I've found that interviewers generally have an interest in helping people who are sociable; and who have a genuine interest in the job and progressing in life, even if they're not an expert in what they're looking for.
