I was on BBC radio last week. It's my third time now, but I'm still convinced the reason they called me is because no one else was available. And I've spent so much time feeling terrible about the things I've said and that it's not good enough.. My partner found the interview and put it on a speaker because he's clearly proud of me. But I thought I'd die đđđ

Interesting take! I love the reframing approach since we can decide which meaning we give to certain things and feelings. The only thing I would add is that you don't necessarily have to feel like an imposter if you try new things. You can be conscious that the thing you are doing is new for you, that growth lies beyond that but I don't have to feel like an imposter if I know that this is part of my identity: the willingness to grow.

I've never suffered Imposter syndrome because I've always been realistic and honest about my abilities and aware that I'm continually learning about the world: life is a journey until our death and not a destination. At every job interview, I've found that interviewers generally have an interest in helping people who are sociable; and who have a genuine interest in the job and progressing in life, even if they're not an expert in what they're looking for.
