Hey Clairo! I’m a 27 year old organic farmer out in rural Quebec. You probably won’t see this but I felt compelled to write this because I have been listening to your album basically everyday. As I try to figure out what has drawn me to it so strongly, I can say that the earnestness of your lyrics and the themes they approach hit a nerve with me. I also really enjoy the riffs and the musical exploration you undertook with Jack Antonoff. As I said, I am just a farmer but your work has really inspired me on my own creative journey. I just want to say that last summer i was becoming suicidal and clairo's music really helped me cope with my anxiety and depression. Dear lord she saved my life she is such an amazing person and deserves way more credit and attention than she gets. The way she writes her music is in such a way that really connects with me and billions of other people. So clairo thank you.
