I enjoy watching your vids because you explain it in a way that non-woodworkers/carpenters can understand. Your projects instill confidence that anyone can build the pieces in the vids. Keep it up!

This is exactly what I had in mind for my son’s bedroom! He currently has a queen size bed on a big bulky bed frame, but he needs more room. This will be perfect. Thank you for your very thorough tutorials!

This was an incredible build, but MAN, seeing your solutions to things like how to clamp something so big was amazing

Nice job I was looking for something like this for my cabin. Your instructions were easy. Might I suggest you put a 1x4 on the underside of your pull out slats that way it won't pull out when you fully extend it. Other then that great job.

This crazy method you kept going through for fixing the bars was actually not the least crazy at all!!! It made me realize how to smartly get that done without a whole lot of measuring and probably false marks and slant bars that would get stuck pulling out the bed! Thumbs up!

Just did the final assembly today. Overall a nice product. My main motivation to use the design was I don’t have much time right now so is an easy quick solution. I do have it setting on felt feet, which helps the front in sliding, as well as an arm on both sides. We are using a futon. In the short term I am using additional pillows when in the upright position as a 90 degree back is a little uncomfortable. Since I have carpentry and metal working experience, am going to modify the back so it is angled and that angle is adequately supported. I think it will compliment your original design. Well done!

I have been checking this design out to use for guests. I have a small house, so I think this would do the trick. As usual, love watching your builds and really appreciate your amazing imagination.

Always like your projects. They look great, aren't overly complicated and you are really honest about mistakes and mentioning things to avoid doing. Keep it up! Big fan!

Love this idea for a vintage camper I'm currently working on. I'll repurpose 2 fairly new twin xl foam mattresses, cut 1 in half lengthwise, and use it for the back cushion. Depending on the size I cut, I can go either full xl or queen. With slight modification, I believe I can also add a twin bed lift to it and have much needed storage under. Many thanks for your design and clear instruction!
