As a guy who has done a share of underground electronic DJ mixing and a whole lot of looking for love in all the wrong places, I can't help myself still reminiscing. It's crazy I started by purchasing cdjs on my 40th birthday. I was throwing a 3-day bender at my place with copious amounts of favors from everybody who could contribute and our buddy's faders gave and killed the Buzz. We needed someone to acquire club-standard players. I had a little scratch at the time and... blasted on b@th sodium to the point where the consequences seemed trivial in comparison to the Epic experience of learning this incredible piece of equipment and a new passion was just what I needed at the time and seemed like the move to expand my consciousness + increase the odds of meeting the right one. My last girlfriend had passed away a few years earlier and I was lonely and looking for friends and always interested and open to something more. And I had some of the occasional hit-and-run or friends for the night in the parking lot or after partying. It's nice stepping away from that after meeting My love 3 years ago. I loved it and it was the vibe here in Tampa Bay for those who could make it any given Friday or Sat or often daze and nights in a row on occasion. We had the legendary traditional old-style 90s all-night Raves with multiple stages and anywhere from 50 to 5,000 people depending on the night. Unfortunately, the highway patrol installed Gates a few years ago and closed now at sunset which destroyed the underground community. It was our refuge from reality and a safe place for those who felt outcasted or artistically minded to such a degree that sober reality never felt correct. I remember how awesome it was being able to bring out the crackers, clothes were optional. Age range wasn't a concern. And, the market for vendors gave us our little grassroots economy. My buddy had a drone with laser lights fire spinning, around and everyone would put clothes today and laser lights and projectors with psychedelic imagery to make it our own tiny Burning Man experience but completely free and open to anyone. The police or out of jurisdiction was off the seven-mile-long Skyway Bridge in the middle of the bridge they had a rest stop along with a park and beaches on both sides. Some of the things I experience I cannot put in words but the soundscape and visual experiences became a cult of sorts and authentic because it was free and done for the love of the music, not for the publicity or money. It was cool but since meeting my girl it doesn't seem important anymore I rather just spend time loving every moment we have together and after 3 years it gets better every day even with some of the darkest moments. Listen to songs like this together provide a magical soundtrack to our lives which enriches us and reminds us of how lucky we are in a world where finding love is possible and it was on fb I met her not at the club. Over the last week we have found everything available in Matt's library of compositions and they are bliss we are stoned like the moment we met and it's amazing finding that both you and your lover discovered together a true bonding experience and a way to open our hearts and Minds and say things in ways we always wanted to but the artist does so magically
