I use the Black Ember Citadel for everyday carry and absolutely love it. I picked it up after using their Forge for a travel bag. I probably wouldn't have ever found my favorite bags if not for you. Thank you Chase.

Im so glad this came out. Im going on a surprise trip to the southwest in and I need a carry on for a 16in laptop, photography equipment, and some extra clothing and for a decent price. I liked Goruck but 400 plus is way too much atm as I just replaced my MacBook and camera.

This is the video Iāve been waiting for. I donāt use a MacBook and finding a backpack that fits my laptop and itās huge ass charger. The GoRuck GR1 looks great. Just a few pockets and a whole lot of space. Loving the glasses and beard combo btw!

I wanted to get the Evergoods CPL28 SO friccin bad, but the lack of the luggage pass through made me have to go with my 4th Aer bag lol. I know they have the 35L travel bag but it's just a little too bulky for me.

I really need a good personal item bag to carry my tech like tablet, steam deck, switch, cables, power bank, maybe a blanket or jumper and snacks for the airport/plane. Could advise what size bag for this?

Love my Evergoods CPL28, to me that is the best pack out there. When in doubt: just buy! The only thing, really the only is, no separate waterbottle pocket. I donāt mind though.

Hey Broseph, wanted to also let you know that I don't think Topo Designs has that Global 3 day briefcase anymore. I just searched every bag on their site, and they only have the smaller 14L Global briefcase. Super bummed, as that was the bag I was most excited about from your video, other than the more expensive Bellroy bag. I think probably when they came out with their 30 L travel bag, they didn't see the need for the Global 3 day briefcase anymore, but man, it looks so much better than the travel bag...I have their travel bag in the 40 L and i couldn't see myself using their 30L as an everyday bigger daily carry laptop bag because the pockets for tech stuff are HORRIBLE...I can't stand the vertical front pocket or the laptop compartment in the bag. Nope nope nope. bummed out. And the link on your matterful site takes you to an "Oops, looks like you've wandered off trail" page on the Topo site. LOL. Might want to fixsy that up a bit. And maybe stop advertising this bag. Or tell Topo to bring it back, because it's awesome! Thanks bro.

Chase! Great video - love this whole series. I know each backpack appeals to different people for different reasons, but I'd love to see either a bracket-style backpack tournament or even a straight top 20 list to determine what you consider is the "best" backpack in each class. An OG Evergoods CPL24 is still probably my go-to laptop bag until I need more space and bust out a Tom Bihn bag, but would love to hear what you see as the best combo of all the features in each size group.
