We had some girls come forward at the beginning of the year against a teacher, and our principal and assistant principal did not believe them. A few weeks ago he was arrested because of what a parent found on their daughterâs phone. Now theyâre doing the school because of negligence. This might seem over-dramatic, but this film actually made me PHYSICALLY ANGRY with how bad it was. This was a golden opportunity to explore teen/adult relationships, the circumstances around them and the consequences that can follow. Instead, this movie decides to throw fuel on the fire of a dangerous narrative about female victims and fetishizes lesbians. I was just so disgusted with this film that I canât even joke around about it. Jade Halley Bartlett should never be allowed to work in this industry again.
