Oh what an absorbing scene in the beginning itself. I dont know how i missed this film then.

Excellent film. Really cool to see those places in 1972. Only part of script I think was weak were the rnon organised looking a people buying the dope wholesale. In reality it would be guys from the 5 families or their connections including a few Jewish Americans and Puerto Ricans and some black wholesalers. Another small problem was the 50 kilos. A large amount for 72 but not a huge amount considering the a few tons a month were moved by the French Connection to NY.
Apart from that really good and charismatic actors, good cinematography, music, scenery and sets. Nice women too.
