This footage came from the "GAME MUSIC DVD" and was UPSCALED using a 3x Nearest Neighbor scale in VirtualDub, upscaling it to 1920x1440.

The previous upload used a 2X Bicubic upscale causing some detail to be lost, and most other uploads are no better than 360/480p, with more detail lost due to YouTube compression.

If anyone’s wondering, the red text at 5:14 translates to “Defective Disk Method” meaning that the user was trying to use a broken disk or an illegal floppy disk. And the white text scrolling above translates to “Please remove the disk” Even gives off the same error sound as the regular FDS, cool!

Of note, the Super Mario Maker 2 "Pop & Win!" Super World minigame is based on the sequence at 4:08, as the music and "inflating" sound are identical.

2:15-2:32 This sounds like an early rendition of the Ground Theme.

If the SNES-CD ever had come out, I know for a FACT that they could very well have had something similar to this for rewriting games and whatnot.

The Writer seems extremely ambivalent about this process.

Please note that the original Disk Writer machines used a RGB PPU as seen via the pallete being identical to the PlayChoice 10 pallete. "GAME MUSIC DVD" used a composite quality recording which was interpreted as 480i, rather than a direct RGB video at 240p, so this is not the highest quality footage ever by any means.

ちなみに本物のディスクライターは、店頭書き換え終了時任天堂が全機回収済みなので、一部を除いてほとんど流出していません。 なのでこの映像もROMもかなり貴重です。
