After making it through the sewage plant, Leon makes it to the waste containment room where he finds Ada injured. When Ada was chasing Annette Birkin she fell into a trap that Annette had set up for her and fell into a garbage pit where her leg was impaled by piece of metal debris.
Leon aids Ada in pulling the rusty piece of metal out of her leg and bandages her up. As he's aiding her he asks what the next move is in terms of chasing down Annette. Ada stops him and warns that he should get out of the city and leave her alone, but he insists and tells her that she isn't going to get rid of him that easy.
