I've watched this when I was in high school (ka age ko si Camille) but couldnt understand the depth of their issues back then. Few hrs ago I've accidentally watched the clip of this video and I was moved so I decided to watch the movie again.. It's a beautiful well made story and the actors are really good and so natural. Anyway, I was deeply moved by this story because it represents many true stories out there with blended families.. The character of Sharon here defies the stereotyped Madrasta. Sharon here was very patient, kind, an empath sensitive soul. Her character is the one the family needed the most in order to heal many traumas. Her patience and understanding slowly healed each of the children and Christopher's character. Ang daming real issues na na touch ng drama na to. So many life lessons din. Marriage is really a hard work. But also you have to know when to let go and weigh whether it's worth fighting for.. Only if your partner is willing to change for the better and ready to listen. I love how Sharon's character slowly and patiently showed her love, understanding and support to each of the children and spouse. I also love how she eventually learned how to softly but firmly established her boundaries so her spouse and his children will respect her. Love is patient and kind talaga. It heals all wounds and traumas.. And God will really put the right person in your life, someone you needed the most. In this story, Christopher's character was deeply wounded and traumatized and afraid to show vulnerability. But Sharon's patience, understanding and kindness helped him heal. The right person will make us feel safe to show our vulnerabilities without risking being judged or ridiculed.. That's when you intuitively know if the person you are with is the right one..
