Naiyak ako while watching this story. Isa din akong athleta, I used to represent my City, which is my hometown Talisay City dito sa Cebu. Naka-abot ako sa CVRAA to Palarong Pambansa. Kaya ako naiiyak dahil yung dedikasyon at disiplina sa kanyang sarili ay walang katumbas. I used to represent my City pero yun talaga ang kulang, yung hindi ka susuportahan mismo sa nirerepresent mo.
I am a former varsity Volleyball Player in my City, nag stop dahil nagkaroon ng sakit (Appendicitis) and sabi ng doctor na it takes year or more than to heal. Almost 7 years na akong nag stop sa journey ko as an athlete. Pero mahirap talaga iwan yung kinakahiligan mo. I thought don na mag sto-stop yung journey ko as an athlete. But good to know na despite sa aking sakit, ay pwede pa pala akong makahabol pa at mas malayo pa ang aking mararating, dedikasyon at disiplina lang sa sarili ang kelangan to fulfill the dream that I've been dreamed of.
Now, my journey as an athlete was the best history to tell. I do believe that every athletes out there had a great story tell as well.
