Game Description
Life Is Strange is a five part episodic game that sets out to revolutionise story based choice and consequence games by allowing the player to rewind time and affect the past, present and future.
You are Max, a photography senior who saves her old friend Chloe by discovering she can rewind time. The pair soon find themselves exposed to the darker side of Arcadia Bay as they uncover the disturbing truth behind the sudden disappearance of a fellow student.
Meanwhile, Max begins to have premonitions as she struggles to understand the implications of her power. She must quickly learn that changing the past can sometimes lead to a devastating future.

And an even more hurting thing is in this reality Max has to live knowing Chloe didn't have those happy memories of that time they spent together after her return from Seattle to Arcadia Bay. Because she perished in that girl's room before everything even happened. She didn't even know Max was in town. She died believing she was abandoned by everyone and especially by Max. She never knew Max loved her so much and would do anything for her or saved her life so many times. Except... for the last time.

I really can't give enough credit to the amazing performance of Ashley Burch as Chloe in this game. She poured so much of herself into this character. This performance is one of the one's I always turn to for inspiration on voice acting. Really, incredible job.

This ending is my favorite because it teaches the player a lesson. Sometimes we must leave the past as the past, and instead of changing past mistakes, learn to grow from them. Everything happens for a reason, and this choice seems the most likely as to what Chloe would choose.

Why is no one talking about the living hell Joyce must be going through? She lost her husband AND her daughter, that's absolutely HEARTBREAKING
I have a teacher who is the mother of one of my best friends; and last year she discovered ON THE SAME DAY that both her mother and her son had cancer, her mother died and she still suffers from that a year after she passed away, her son (my friend) was in a pretty serious condition but he thankfully survived the disease. I could never begin to comprehend the pain that woman went through and I admire her so much for that; now imagine loosing the two most important people of your whole life man... Joyce does not deserve that AT ALL, as we can see she could barely even walk to Chloe's coffin, that's so fucking sad

Everyone is so sad about Chloe dying not remembering any of this and thinking that everyone she ever loved abandoned her, but Iām sad about the fact that Max knows the whole story and can never tell anyone about it. The truth is, Max is now more hopeless and alone than Chloe ever could have been. No matter how close and supportive those around her can be, no one will ever understand what absolute horror she has been through.

I think this end sequence couldāve been so much more beautiful if it included the blue butterfly (Chloe) landing next to the transparent deer (Rachel) in the distance. The best reunion of all time

The thing that breaks my heart the most is the shot of Max with all the scattered photos. It looks like sheās considering/trying to use one to save Chloe

I think this ending is the more rational out of the two, because you not only save the population of a town, but you also bring Rachel and Chloe to justice by getting Nathan and Mr. Jefferson caught. I always choose this ending because I don't want a townful of innocent people to die, but my heart still breaks over the tragedy of seeing Chloe die believing that she was unloved.
