The Core 4 is the common denominator of all these Leaf playoff disappointments.

The leafs stopped defending after they tied and allowed the bruins to dominate their zone after they scored bad mental response for sure

2nd time the Leaf's gave the Bruins a great goaltender ...damn you Andrew Raycroft you weren't worth trading a Stanley Cup winning goaltender for.

A shout out to the game of hockey, the excitement, the elation, the anxiety, playoff hockey at its very best.

When it comes to winning in the playoffs itā€™s a fine line. Specialty teams play an integral role in the outcome of the games. Iā€™ve waited the first three games and havenā€™t been impressed with the leafs. All,this talk about been more physical payers really hasnā€™t amounted to very much.Once again itā€™s the top players who have failed to step up to the next level.

Two teams that have combined for one Stanley Cup championship in the last 102 seasons. Wake me up when it's o-vah . . .

Frustrating? Not just the go ahead goal 18 seconds after the Leafs tied it but then to see Toronto unable to get out of their zone with the clock approaching 6 minutes and even turning the puck over behind their net! And don't get me started on the ref's once again dictating the narrative of the Leafs storyline with questionable officiating (this time a call as opposed to the non-call in '93!) with the game on the line?

Defense always trumps offense. Tampa has the best power play in the league. They went 0-4 tonight on the PP against Florida's defense and goaltending

Why don't they emulate the Sundin Mogilny Roberts Kaberle McCabe PP They were deadly and this team has similar skill available to them to make it work

Playoff hockey sometimes gets laughably out of hand, I mean, cross checking, holding, interference, hooking, everywhere, tackling guys, it's kinda hilarious.

Game 4 is a must win now for the Leafs.

The term special teams is so pretentious. Just say the Powerplay. It makes the top guys look bad, but it's a coaching issue. Just simplify it, get pucks on net, clean it up, make them scramble.
