I used to listen to this song every day when I had a massive crush on my coworker. We met when we were randomly assigned to shared a cubicle. We’d been friends for a while but I didn’t know if he shared my feelings, and I was too nervous to tell him just how I felt. It turned out he was pining for me the whole time, too! We’ve been together for four fantastic years now, and we just picked out my engagement ring. He is the love of my life, but when I listen to this song I still feel the same butterflies for him that I did back when he was just the crush I assumed didn’t notice me. This song will always be so special to me.

I remember in 2019, when YouTube recommended this song to me after the algorithm understood that I was listening to a lot of indie music and I liked it so much that I recommended it to a friend who was listening during a plane ride, she was impressed and liked the song so much that she listened to it several times while she was on her way home. It seems like a silly story, but I'm happy to have had something like this that I now miss from before, it's amazing how music connects with us, humans.
