Haha. Less expensive than a Lyriq? Blazer RS EV is around 62k, equally equipped Lyriq is 65k. I seriously do not understand why would anyone buy this Blazer over Lyriq.

The lowest priced Lyriq uses the same platform and starts at $60K. It also has the 340 HP RWD powertrain and the 106 kWh battery, but a more luxurious interior. Wouldn’t it be a better value proposition to go with the Lyriq?

Looking at the Michigan State Police testing. The 9C1 version seems to have 498 hp and 571 ft/lbs with a 105 Kwh battery (same as the 102?). 0-60 mph on a avarage of 5.17 seconds and 60-0 mph in 135 ft.

I’m holding out for the 2LT AWD that’s coming out soon to replace my Jeep. The RS trim is too expensive for me but I like the size of the rig. Winter driving on the east coast with ground clearance and a rear wiper. ✅

for this 1 pedal drive thing...... do the brake lights come on when you let off the accelerator?

Nathan reviews are best reviews. I just wish companies would focus more on making something like this more affordable… yes i know, the equinox is coming and is hopefully a decent bit cheaper at the starting price.

it interesting that its putting out 284 kw on full throttle. guessing the hp numbers are more than listed, like the lyriq

The RWD model is more expensive because it has a larger battery more than just more power. However, having seen the red/black interior in person, I have to disagree with that being better. It is far too loud for my taste. But I know that is something that is strictly subjective.

There is five EVs that most likely going to be in their price lane and that's is the VW Buzz, ID 5, the Kia EV9, Acura ZDX, and Honda Prologue.

I like it but it’s too new and GM keeps changing the EV’s and I heard the Caddy Lyric is only 2,000 -4,000 more for a Caddy?

I believe the Blazer EV comps to the Cadillac OPTIQ (not release yet) instead of the LYRIQ. Still a terrific car. Will love to see them on the road next year. Thx for the video. I enjoyed watching.

These automakers need to be making more 25K to 40K models. I can buy a model Y rwd from inventory for 42k with a hitch. Throw in 7500k off and its cheaper than a prius.

Rather have a fwd like the equinox Ev or Ariya

For that price of 58k+, i would go for the GX or the LC250.

I'm looking forward to 2024 and the Equinox EV. I have seent he Blazer EV in person and sat in it and I was pretty impressed. But again, it's the Equinox EV I'm looking forward to seeing in person. My dealership here in Canada is already posting a $5000 Fed tax credit for the Blazer EV. I just hope that one day I can look forward to not thinking about how much gas I am using and just get home and plug it in. Ready to go the next day.

While I did find the new blazer attractive when it first came back out, I decided to buy a Jeep MP instead as I found the styling inside and out to be better aligned with my style.

This is one good looking SUV, the range, features, and with the 7.5k tax credit, make it relatively competitively priced. But as an EV owner, I have found charging speeds are more important than range. A bit disappointing that the Hyundai/KIA, and Tesla products charges much faster.
