We’re Alive is an award-winning audio drama that follows a group of survivors in downtown Los Angeles during a zombie Apocalypse. Created in 2009 by Kc Wayland, We’re Alive spans 4 seasons, two spin-off podcasts, a live-action tabletop show, and an amazing online community. I can honestly say that I have loved listening to we're alive but the best thing that I remember and still have is when Mr. Wayland emailed me to wish me happy birthday and the email conversation that proceeded

I have been a HUGE fan of zombie fiction and audiobooks for years. I don't remember how exactly I found We're Alive, but it was my favorite piece of zombie fiction by far and it was also the most unique piece of entertainment I had consumed up up until that point. I was kind of late to the party as I found it in 2018 but I'm very, very glad I did. It was my first exposure to audio drama and I fell in love with it from the first few minutes of listening.
I'm a veteran myself and was also drawn in by how "realistic" the Military characters and those aspects of the story where. I didn't know Kc Wayland was a veteran up until now, but it makes sense. lol
Thank you to everyone involved in this for your efforts in making this series! You guys are the best in the business.

I was certainly quite late to We're Alive honestly. I started listening in late 2022. I randomly found it while trying to find more audio dramas to listen to. And i can say that i quickly fell in love with this story. Okay fine ill admit, I became obsessed with it. This story got me through dark times and need i say, ive been so excited to hear about the shows future. It really means a great deal. This show is simply my favorite of all shows ive listened. Trust me, ill be supporting this in any way i can. Thank you KC, for this absolute masterpiece!

I was working 12 hour shifts, midnights, in a laser shop in Beaverton Oregon, making guidance chips for surface to air and surface to surface missiles when I stubbed my audible toe on this show. After completing it, and 10 years later as a maintenance supervisor for multi family housing, I bellied up to the bar again....god, its so good. its a hug from a friend for me. I will donate.....

Aw man, it sucks to see it coming to an end, but what a trip it's been! I've only just heard about We're Alive a few years ago and absolutely LOVE the show! I've listened to A Story of Survival so many times and absolutely love LockDown! I can't wait to see what you come up with next! Also, need any more voices for characters????? haha

I first found We're Alive in 2013. It was October. I remember because it was the 20 year anniversary of my stepfather's restaurant opening. I would listen to the show as I lay in bed often falling asleep to the sounds of Michael, Saul and Burt mowing down "not-zombies". I've listened to the subsequent shows and haven't heard one that I don't love. I recently restarted the original show because it's one of those that can be binge listened to during practically any activity. I want to sincerely thank you for not letting the quality of the show drop as its popularity rose. When I finished We're Alive for the first time, I searched for other shows like it and nothing compared. Sure there are audiobooks, but I don't want someone to read me a book. I want to experience what the characters are feeling. That's what we get with your show. That's why i recommend your show to anyone interested in the genre.
