Bought the Sport, and 3 months later bought the full-size. Now we have both. Nothing but good things to say about the sport: fun to drive around town and I've put it in some interesting offroad situations and it has excelled. We get more comments on the robin's egg sport in a day than we do on the cactus big bronco in a month. If we had to keep one, it would be the sport. The big Bronco is a big fun toy - love everything about it. Non-sasquatch Black Diamond with the soft top was everything I needed and it was under 50k.

Great to see someone showing the little Sport some love.
I bought the first badlands model in my region in December of 2020 as a downsize from my 13 Flex (which was an awesome vehicle).
I’ve had no mechanical issues and total reliability since. I even dropped it in a 2 ft hole while on a trail and it walked out with just a tear in the front bumper. It has 78,000 kms on the clock now.
I’m 6’1, 250 and yes the seats are a little narrow but I find them more comfortable than the bigger seats in my flex.
Cheers guys.

i went from the jeep JL to the bronco badlands. stock for stock the bronco doesn't flex quite as much BUT... what it lacks in flex it makes up for in everything else comfort wise. not only can i got 80 down the highway without swerving all over from a solid axle tracking like a hammered dog turd, i can offroad everything i've asked it to with just minimal intervention from a rear locker if the tire floats too much. I'm extremely happy with the move I made! I've also just jumped up to a BDS suspension so my flex should be notably better this coming summer's wheeling season.

Nathan, I have a 2022 Bronco Sport Badlands that I striped up Freewheelin' style. Last April I stopped by the ranch on our way to Alaska to run the obstacle course. After that we went to Moab for a week of off-roading. The only limiting factor is ground clearance, not traction. I only had to lock the rear diff a few times, and it did the job flawlessly. Yes, I wish it towed more, but our travel trailer is under 2,000lbs so it works for us. I had considered a full size but at the time I was in the market it was still about a 2 year wait if ordered and dealers were still charging a "market adjustment of 10 to 30 k on in-stock ones. I was lucky to find mine with the equipment and color I wanted a little below sticker.

I love my Jeep Renegade Trailhawk for a lot of the same reasons you like the Bronco Sport. Good on-road, decent off-road, niceties like heated wheel and seats. I wish my Trailhawk had that camera system! It always feels slightly sketchy going up steep inclines where all you see is sky instead of where the trail is going. Mine has the mysky roof option with the removable panels and I have added Wildpeak A/T Trails in 225/65/17 going ever so slightly bigger than stock.

I have a 23 Maverick Tremor Lariat if TFL wants to do a comparison with the Bronco Sport, my health is bad and not using it, so if you want to take it for a while for comparison testing I would love to see it, I had a Bronco Sport Badlands that I traded for the Maverick Tremor, thought they would by much more similar than they are, it's surprising. Love the Maverick, miss the Bronco though.
