Why is this song so nostalgic? This song makes me so sad, just imagining a late night in the car listening to this song in the radio.

I remember hearing this song in the car as a child heading home from preschool. It was extremely snowy out so we took extremely long to get home. And I was like half asleep but still listened to the song and I was like “I really like this song” and my mom slowly caught on later on in the years because everytime it played I’d just ask her to turn the volume up. It’s still one of my favorite Christmas songs.
Update: congratulations to yesterday for being the first time I’ve heard the song this year !! Coming back to read this story every so often makes me really happy to know that a lot of others feel the same way or just think it’s a sweet thing !
