The series was incredible. I saw Winnifred Atwell, my mom, used to work for her back in the 50's, before she left for. Australia, she was laid to rest there when she died a few years ago. Can't wait for series 2.

The man who single-handedly destroyed the best know charity event in Britain with his racism and indifference to the white culture that gave him £millions£ and a knighthood, there is nothing and never has been anything funny about Lenny Henry,
I remember watching New Faces when he made his first-ever TV appearance in 1975.. "OOH BETTY" I cringed for him, everyone in the room was aghast, the next day in the paper the BBC gave him a huge write-up ignoring everyone else on the show urging people to support Lenny Hnenry, it was possibly the BBC's first ever woke/tick box, venture, In those days everyone would talk about what was on the telly the previous night and everyone said the same, he was terrible, an embarrassment and he was the joke, how he got his own show only the executives at the BBC can tell you that, the ironic thing is even though there was a huge BBC campaign to support LH he didn't win that year Marti Caine did but LH was given a TV show by the BBC, enough said ! RIGGED
