Lumine is the Abyss herald.
She was the leading the abyss order to prevent a global catastrophy like in the trailer. So meeting with Aether is not a good thing and would probably end the whole story because, Apparently they both are weak because they lost all there powers but in further time they will have there power back and we might fight Dainsleif to reach Lumine afterwards.

Dainsleif hates Archons and Diety overall. It was Archons who destroyed his country anyway. I think he cooperated with Lumine after the cataclysm (when Aether was asleep for the 500 years), but they parted ways as you said, when Lumine had chosen to lead the Abbys order. Her goal is most probably to dethrone Celestia. Currently 4/7 of the Archons are against Celestia's rules (Murata is still in question), Venti, Zhongli, Dendro archon and Tsaritsa already made their moves against them. What I think is - Dainsleif sees the bigger picture in this and he doesn't wanna insist in this eternal cycle of war. He knows what happened, he probably knows what's going to happen and he just simply doesn't wanna be a part of this. Nor the Abbys, that's why he's sad that his beloved light of his life, Lumine, has chosen this path. My question is what's going to happen between us. Because in the Teyvat trailer, he said "Defeat me, command me to step aside, show me that you're worthier than I to RESCUE her." he seems to be kinda friendly right now, I didn't expect that. Also the word "rescue" is used pretty wisely specific here. :)

What I think is that something happened to lumine, cuz Dainsleif says something like "she travels no more", she became mad or something, but this dude kinda like her and is looking for ways to save her, there is that line too about "prove me that you are worthier than I to rescue her", so he is testing us, he will be a guide for us later in the game, something like Gandalf in Lord of the Rings, a powerful being giving us insight, this is why he narrates the character trailers too, and is from Kaenri'ah a land older than teyvat, he is gonna be there untill we face whatever is controlling lumine then we willbecome "worthier" to save her

Everyone speaking slavic language will tell you that Tsaritsa is a title, not a name. A female Tsar to be exact. In other words we could equate her to queen.
Both Abyss order and Fatui ultimatly want to take care of Archeons.
Venti mentioned he offended Cryo Archeon around 500 years ago. Zhongli and Childe said she changed from peaceful love goodness she once was.
Lumine is called princess by her subjects.
I think Lumine has either allied herself with Tsarisa or she IS Tsarisa.

For those who'll ask how strong is andrius he's far more powerful than venti without him venti and his friend can't even defeat decarabian, He's the real candidat of the next anemo archon but decided to give the gnosis to venti becuz he can't understand human feels

Guys dains is not on his final form he has a smudge on his face he’s an adventurer companion which he gets stronger over time which means he will help later in the story with fights to help us complete our mission theory btw

Yeah my theory is also the same as you. Also 'dust' she did talk about I think means she's cleaning the world from evil people and she might need to sacrifice herself in the end so Aether could understand the circumstances. Dainsleif is just a passerby person for now, he seems like Merlin as he said he know everything he want to know. A friend of mine saids because he's the world keeper like watching everything from the upper world, so I thought he's the same as Merlin.
I'm also curious he's perventing Aether for not to rush searching her. To think it because Aether still needs to get stronger before he finds out about darkside of the gods at Celestia (as Venti said before in the comic, Celestia become a no good place) and learn about his sister objective by risking her life on it. So if his sister is dissappear again he could understand.
That's.. just my thoughts tho, I'm looking forward to the siblings story could update faster than the other characters side stories.

It was us that called for the similarities to Kaeya due to Katerine saying he also had an eyepatch.
And you also missunderstood what he said. "desire nothing less than the overthrow of a world ruled by the archons", that means that they actually want to overthrow a world ruled by archons.

Apparently he does not like the order of the abyss so in my opinion when the two of them traveled Lumine decided to join the order and he knows that she was corrupted so it would make sense at the end of the trailer where he says you have to defeat him and prove that you are worthier of rescuing her.

From what deinsleif said "her" is his travel companion And he only follows her wherever she go It means dainsleif is a species of paimon An ex paimon to be exact
