My sister rescued me from a rip current when I was 9, she was 11 but adrenaline took over her (she said) when she saw me struggling (I wasnāt the best swimmer at 9) and going further and further into the ocean, she went in and swam over to pull me out, she was successful and then adults noticed what was happening and came in to help us out (even though we were almost out by then lol). Definitely scariest thing Iāve gone through and if it hadnāt been for my sister, I wouldnāt be here. She risked her life for mine and itās something I could never pay her back ā¤.
