This comment will probably get lost in the void, but one of my close friends unexpectedly passed recently. Several years ago she showed me this song and told me how much she liked this artist. I remember liking this track, so I saved it and over the years I kept it in my playlists. Now that she's gone, this song's lyrics really bring a different meaning and remind me of her. Rest peacefully, friend. Time called your name.
Thank you, Project Pitchfork. I'll cherish this song forever.

Got it! The ladies by the water's edge were really bothering me, as they reminded me of something I'd seen long ago. It's an 1893 painting 'Summer Evening on Skagen's Southern Beach' (it sounds better in the original language: 'Sommeraften pΓ₯ Skagen SΓΈnderstrand') by Norwegian artist Peder Severin KrΓΈyer. Brilliant to see it brought to life in the video, though in much grimmer weather!

This song will never die... it's like rain... falling down in the rivers and the ocean and then back up to the sky.
I will never stop listen to this one. My favorite with Project Pitchfork.
And suitable we got rain finally, long needed... just wish I lived closer to the Sea.

This band is a "hidden champion". Never really "hyped", but constantly present, successful, and known to all those who are really interested in goth music. Every album released by Project Pitchfork since 1994 had made it into the top 100 in Germany.
