What happens when you can’t go home? The city of Antakya, one of Turkey’s cultural centers, was destroyed after the February 6 earthquake. Thousands were killed, and the city is no longer recognizable to many who called it home. Turkey’s government says rebuilding in the region is about to begin – but many residents are still trying to understand what they’ve lost.

Our sorrow for the journalist his family and all those devastaed in these earthquake disasters. May they find saftey and peace from sorrow.
Recovery if at all will be a monumental challenge for Turkey and especially Syria as the trickle of relief aid suffers starvation level cut backs.
Please inform us all which relief organization Al Jazeera recommends most for each country and which countries to prioritize in rememberance of all the brave heroic journalist who have given their lives, their crews and families showing the world truth.
