Also for those not aware, I believe the use of this song may also be a nod to the Adam Curtis documentary 'All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace' which repeatedly uses samples of the original track by NIN. If you're interested in how computers and technology have been adapted to control every aspect of our modern lives I would highly recommend viewing it.

Considering what happened in this episode, the ending music is a great choice in music (Zedd - Clarity feat Kesha). Kesha was a co-writer on the song, but due to legal issues with her management, it was released without her as the vocalist and uncredited in writing. Only later releasing a version with her singing with the full writing credit after the legal proceedings ended (if I'm remembering correctly).
