The embarrassment of The Ring magazine buying in to the hype, I trained and taught kickboxing and i was no expert but when everyone was going on about her boxing ability, I was like what boxing ability, she throws arm punches, has her elbows permanently up like she's trying to dry off her pits.
She never once turned her shoulder or hips to pivot in to a shot, she had this weird thing when shadow boxing where she seemed to lay her head over on her shoulder like she was having a phone conversation at the same time and she had zero footwork.
Why were these professional MMA fighters and commentators constantly impressed by a very obvious complete lack of boxing technique.
Also, what was it about him that Rousey was so blind in her belief in him, he basically pulled off the biggest con in MMA with zero training skills and as for Rogan, he was so far up her ass in his fandom his head smelled of sh*t

The absolutely DEVASTATING story of Ronda's fall from being THE face of Mixed Martial Arts in popular culture is one for the ages. I think being built up the way she was, then taking such an unexpected loss just broke her heart. People like to shit on her, but if she wasn't built up the way she was, she might have been able to recover from that loss. But when you have everyone in the world telling you that you're unstoppable - and then you get stopped - you can't really blame her for how that affected her.
