Quite possibly the loudest and proudest of hard rocking Jews, David Lee Roth has gone on record crediting his Bar Mitzvah preparation as his earliest vocal training. He became a rockstar the day he became a man: Diamond Dreidel DLR and Van Halen...with "Jump."

Dave Lee Groth! I wish these sessions were all year long, they're my smile-time of the day. Thanks guys, you both are great.

The imitations of Diamond Dave's stage antics from Van Halen's music videos are just perfect. That takes me back. 🙏🤘

Dave adjusting his glasses then almost dropping a stick. So rock star!

A nice and respectful touch that the keytar looks like Eddie's guitar. RIP Eddie

First - DAUMN GREG CAN SHRED!!! Second - it’s so beautiful to see how two musicians found each other to do such a thing:) just remembering how it was started

Dave's adoration of Van Halen never stops! And I salute him for it! Long live the Mighty Van Halen! And kudos for actually playing this on an OB-Xa (like Eddie).

These are so good, and absolutely hysterical. Love that they made the keytar look like Eddie Van Halen’s guitar. Dave is so damn funny. Love these! Eddie’s smiling down on you guys. 😂❤️🙏🏻

THESE ARE THE BEST! Wish Hanukkah was EVERY day so we’d get a cover from FF!

Dave amazes me. I saw FF in concert in 2011, when I was thinner and in better shape, and at one year older than Dave, I never would have been able to keep up with him. Now, with degenerative disc disease, jumping doesn't happen unless I'm trying to not step on my dog! Dave always looks like he's having a good time, and he puts a smile on my face. 🖤 Foo Fan for life.

Never thought in a million years I’d be saying this, but I can’t stop listening to that keytar solo.

Its lucky for us that Dave was a huge fan of Greg and asked him to produce what became Concrete And Gold. Cause that made them very good friends, which is lucky for us, cause they play great music together!
