I'm a weathered old grizzly rocker who grew up on classic rock and first generation British heavy metal. But let me say I'm very happy that I discovered these ladies (entirely by accident) about a year ago when I came across their "From the Basement" sessions. I've been hooked ever since. There's something deeply authentic about their music that resonated with me, plus the fact that they're impressive musicians in their own right and they genuinely seem to have loads of fun doing what they love, without having to resort to any flash or fake theatrics like many female "artists" do these days.
