In addition to everything that everyone else already brought up ā the perfect use of colour, framing, fonts, āquirkyā archaic references, etc. ā the music was also fantastic. Perfect juxtaposition of symphonic classical, indie folk, and kitschy 1950s pop. Truly, one of the best parodies of Anderson I have ever seen; and perhaps, even, one of SNLās finest shorts.
