So, it is September 1993, and I am one and a half month before I turn 20 and two months before the death of my mother, from cancer, at 47. And Very - Relentless is released, and I know that there is not only uncertainty and confusion and hardship in the world... and that life is much more than running away or reacting, automatically, to adversities.
And now I am almost 50, and music is still my other plane of existence, almost equally important to the real one. Thanks to the Pet Shop Boys, amongst others. So, thank you Neil and Chris

This song reminds me of living in London in 1994. I bought the album Very Relentless that had the extra CD. I used to play it all the time on my Discman. I returned to Australia in September of that year.

I had to go to hospital last week as I wasn't very well had to go by ambulance and have lots of blood checks and injections but it didn't stop me listening to these guys absolutely ❤them too bits especially Chris he's absolutely fantastic in this ❤his accent looks gorgeous in no matter what he wears he looks so cute might be 65 on 4th October but looks nowhere near his 60s he still got a baby face.. Bless u Chris for just being u
