It’s weird how I’ve just come to accept that’s it’s normal that I have to hide a part of myself from people, for fear of being reduced to it. How gay somehow is a big topic people like to talk and bicker about. How the world feels disgusted by us. It’s ridiculous: I just want to love and be loved. Leave me alone. Leave us alone.

People in general dramatize love, whether it’s straight or gay, but especially in the latter case. It sickens me to think of all the opposite sex kids who were shipped together by their parents just because they like playing hide and seek together. “Love is love and we are all just human”. Love is not a big deal, and it’s not a bigger deal when it’s gay.
