IT'S FINALLY OUT!!! what a crazy journey this has been for this little song I wrote a couple months ago on my uke. I wrote this because I felt stuck and empty towards the end of high school, feeling like the last four years were a lie. I felt like I didn't enjoy any of high school, nor did I have many fond memories that I would take with me to college, so the future was incredibly scary. I never went to prom, my friend group had dissipated, and I was mostly alone in my high school endeavors. Even though I had that "5.0 GPA" and was ready to leave for a prestigious university, I didn't know if it was all worth it. I would have never expected in a million years that this song would have blown up on tik tok and that so many people felt the exact same way! I am still in shock that this song reached so many of you guys. I wrote, recorded, produced the song all by myself in my bedroom that last couple of nights to give you guys this one. But in the very end, we just have to remember-- "let's live for now".
