But the truth is, I recently had to hire a designer and I got 550 portfolio applications. If I would spend one minute reviewing a portfolio, that would be over 10 hours! Love it, feels more realistic as you represent someone hiring who lacks time. My takeaways are:
- Hero is crazy important
- Nice profile image
- Unique layout
- Interesting consistent visuals

I think both formats work well: a deep dive so that we can understand why the design works well (or doesn't), and quick reviews like this video where we have an idea of what grabs people's attention at first glance.

i never understood why people feel the need of saying they use webflow everywhere and right away. 98% of the clients wouldnโt know what that means and it might just confuse them

These reviews are really helpful. Please continue and as mentioned a deep dive into one or two portfolios is a good idea. I see typography plays a big part.
