I just love how Katniss here is trying her best to survive the hunger games and be the face of a rebellion and Gale and Peeta here are just like "yeah but...who do you like more?"

I like how Morgan got more confident on showing his face and not afraid to show his opinions nor expose the backlash from stupid haters. I saw this channel grow and its one of my favorites . Thank you Morgan aka Movie Flame

Liam Hemsworth was perfect for the role of Gale

I liked Gale because he was a realistic character. He is loyal to his values and overall a decent person, but is brutal to those that he perceives as threats. I think he was shafted for doing exactly what was necessary to win the war. Peeta answered injustice with compassion, whereas Gale answered it with justice.

I am the only one who was pissed when Madge wasn’t in the movies

I don't think Gale was indifferent toward Prim's death. I think he just realized that he could never salvage his and Katniss's relationship after accidentally killing her sister. He knew that he had crossed the line and decided to cut it off as decisively and calmly as he could. I'm sure that, if the books were from his perspective, we would have seen him deeply distressed on the inside in that moment.

Katniss ended up with Peeta because she realized she’d been wrong about gale. When she met him he was kind, and caring, But over time it she realized it was only to her and his family. He was cold to other people and would kill anyone to survive- which was the exact thing katniss couldn’t bear anymore. Katniss is reckless, just like gale. They were the exact replica of the term “You can’t fight fire with fire.” Gale was always trying to make Katniss lose her rebellious side. While peeta was a dandelion in the beginning of spring. He maintained her fiery-soul and keeps it under control. Gale never realized how many people’s deaths she had on her consciousness. When gale talked about an uprising she knew he would kill to get what he wanted, and she was afraid to tell him that for every death you caused, it left a mark on your soul. She knew that when he made a bomb that would explode twice, killing medics and people who tried to save lives. In the end he couldn’t handle her insanity, he just brought more harm to her than help. He didn’t know how to help her deal with the trauma she had been through. Peeta did, he understood how it felt to lose family, he knew what she had done. He watched first hand as she killed others and watched her friends die one after another. He knew she had lost almost all the only people who understood what she had been through (Rue, finnick, wiress, etc. and almost Peeta and Johanna) He could tell her he knew, when gale couldn’t. He could comfort her, when gale couldn’t or didn’t know how to. He followed and watched over her, when gale didn’t. He never gave up on her, Gale did. I think Collins ended this series beautifully. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Not to mention gale became a big jerk in catching fire and mockingjay.

I think Gale was a good guy, not everybody is so forgiving to ppl who hurt and terrorize them.

In the books gale said he could not save peeta's family from the bombing and I thought that was very suspicious because he had a grudge on him

Why don’t you make a life of Katniss Everdeen video. That would be cool to see what she did before the Hunger Games and after the rebellion

Guys! Even Suzanne Collins regretted Finnick’s death.. She said if she could rewrite the book she wouldn’t kill him.

Everything that happened to Gale, made him full of hate and anger. I think that's why the most of us don't like him.

And the moral of the story is Don't fall in love with a protagonist

Gale was a fine character, but honestly, in Catching Fire he turned into a crybaby. Katniss was going through a lot with Peeta and being a victor, and Gale kept making her life more difficult instead of better, so I actually lost a lot of respect for Gale (I read the books, but that’s my opinion on Gale.)

I think Gale should’ve had more info in the movies and make me mad how he was overlooked like Johanna

It was horrible how their friendship became fractured in the end. Gale loved Prim like his family. He would do ANYTHING for her to keep her safe. He'd NEVER DREAM of harming little Primrose! And yet, he was partially responsible for her death.
