Everyone please be careful using oils in the shower. It will make it very slippery!! I stopped using them in the shower after slipping and hitting the back of my head. Hurt my pride more than anything but since then, I put a towel on the floor and stand on that and use oil after I shower if I'm going to use it but I don't use them much anymore. Happy Friday, Dr Dray! I hope you, your sweet momma and little Tybee have a beautiful weekend. 💝

I use baby oil before the shower to remove the all that sunscreen when I go to the beach, my skin doesn't respond well to scrubbing. Coconut oil on my hair for water fatigue and sometimes during winter on my legs as well if the skin gets a bit flaky because of the cold. So relieved that these are your recommendations. A fantastic weekend everyone!

I LOVE mineral oil! it is such a perfect addition to skincare. It applies so easily and elegantly. I can use it from head to toe and it is such a soothing and protective oil. It's my favorite oil by far. Unlike so many other oils, this one is not heavy, too viscous, or gloopy. It truly applies in such a silky way and it sinks into the skin beautifully. The best part about mineral oil is that is such a simple product and truly so affordable.

I’ve used coconut oil after the shower on wet skin for probably 15 years. I’m not the biggest fan of baby oil but I find it a bit heavy on my skin. I prefer coconut oil because I feel it absorbs better for me. I never use an oil before the shower because getting oil all over your shower floor gets it very slippery which is of course not a good thing

This brings back old memories. My mother used to do this to me & my sibling when we were very young like 4 years old. She used to apply coconut oil on our scalp & mustard oil on our body before bath. Also when we used to get sick, many a times she used to heat up mustard oil with garlic & used to massage that lukewarm oil on our feet. I don't know the reason behind that but I actually loved the smell of mustard oil so I never complained.

After years of me and two daughters used shower oils for years, last year I paid a plumber $3,800 to hydro blast our sewer.
