I'm guessing this is what Ursula was consistently in her Vanessa form. It's interesting how she chooses to stay in her regular form. It shows that her quest for power is her main goal, and she manipulates the low self confidence of others for her own benefit. Ursula is truly one of the greatest Disney villains of all time. Up in the top 3 with Frollo and Scar.

Ok, first off before I begin this characterisation dive: MY GOD YOUR VOICE. I've listened to a fair amount of cover channels and you truly stand among the best. Every track you put out has been an absolute delight to listen to and you should never think otherwise because girl, your talent is SKY HIGH and you better not think otherwise ♥.
Alright, character analysis time. The vibes you brought to Ursula in this are so unique, I almost get the sense that she's actually not nearly as older than Ariel in this version as she is in the original. For some reason I got vibes of high school student conning middle school student while at the same time giving relationship advice for some reason, that slick honey-laced condescension and fake friendship in her voice in the initial stages, putting herself out there as someone who was on her side and knew what she was going through even though you can see her true colours if you know what to look for.
But what I ADORED was how you evolved through the second half. More than anything else, you conveyed Ursula's building excitement SO WELL. Talking character again, it sounds like she hasn't gotten to make a faustian deal like this in YEARS and so at the start she's just going through the motions, part of her not believing Ariel will actually go for it. But when she questions what she'll do without her voice, THAT'S when Ursula (well you, I guess. God I do not know what to do with the perspectives here) thinks "wait, she's actually taking the bait." That final exclaim of "Now I've got her boys!" had such happiness and joy in it as opposed to the original more conspirital tone, it was like she'd just got a part in a talent show and it's something I've seen no one else do. So naturally, she can't contain her laughter until even the end of the song and it just bursts out in the final line with final no-longer-suppressed WICKEDNESS.
And of course, the whispers throughout were a wonderful touch, loved that. So yeah. This was one anon's character analysis of your Ursula. I don't know why the compulsion to do this at 1:30am happened, but it did and I don't regret it because even though you may not have been thinking all of this when you recorded it, you did it beautifully (or maybe you did and you're just that good. Either way).
One last time: YOU ROCK.
