Rubber Ducky Isopods Kept Multiplying, so I Made This

Five months ago I made a dripping cave vivarium for my Rubber Ducky Isopods in an effort to move them out of bins. I thoroughly enjoyed that setup, but I regretted not going larger. I recently mentioned that I wanted to redo it and many of you wanted to see it as well. Here it is, enjoy!

I'm so excited to share this one! It's been in the works for a few weeks now and was a lot of work, but I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. How do you think it compares to the original?

How cool that you are building more scapes for your rubber ducky isopods, I love these so much. Your scapes are always insane but this one looks especially natural.

I love that spoiling animals that are quite fine with simple enclosures has become a recurring theme. We have to hear about it the first time a guest sees this amazing scape and asks, "What's in here?"

It really shows how much you care for your animals knowing you were able to breed rubber ducky isopods. Youre such an amazingly kind and considerate human being for, despite learning this, you still wanted to make their tank bigger

If I was extremely wealthy, I would pay SerpaDesign top dollar to make custom tank builds like these for me. They are absolutely stunning, and I would look at these tanks for hours in person if I had even just one of these. You're truly a genius, and every setup is a masterpiece.

these last few builds have been truly on a new level! I'm loving the shift from tropical jungle looks for larger builds to something that much more closely resembles something you could head out and see locally. I'm studying herpetology and art, and one of my major crossroads interests is enclosure design. I feel like enclosures that house native species and mimic local environments could be an excellent way to get folks interested in conservation. The biggest step is letting people know what's out there!

I found a grey isopods randomly in my apartment and was inspired by you to try and create a little home for him. now I have a total of 4 little beans in a little vivarium ♥

My coworker is giving me her old aquarium and I plan on turning it into a slice of local nature. There's an abundance of moss and ground creeping plants, twigs and branches, leaf litter, etc. Perfect to home isopods and centipedes

The algorithm is being unfair to you. Your recent videos have really been excellent and the new studio and capacity adds so much to your videos. I imagine a reptile/frog vid will help pull a few more views or another less-natural habitat like the crystal caves or play button one. Just hoping you keep getting enough support to make these vids. Maybe even patreon?

I was waiting for this! My friend just gave me Duckis as a surprise and I was hurrying up to make a quick version of your original ducky enclosure with some twist last night. So happy to see your updated version of it. Thank you always for your inspiring videos. They are soothing, too.

Such a beautiful vivarium! I'm not a big fan of bugs, but these ones really are so cute, especially with that name. You've created a wonderful home for them to get settled and multiply happily!

This is amazing! I've just created my first terrarium for a group of Dairy Cow isopods. I may have to track down some Rubber Duckies for a future project.

Your videos and hobby are a niche art form I didn’t expect myself to enjoy so thoroughly. Thanks for the great videos, even your simple vivariums are inspiringly full of love, detail, and depth.

Even with the recent boom of similar tank channels, this is the one I never get tired of. Tanner has so much vibe that he makes frickin' isopods fascinating to observe, and his skills in DIY & tankscaping are unparalleled.

It be fun to see a video on where and how you source all your natural materials from, as well as to see your current collection of all your natural materials, plants, etc.

I have NEVER heard of rubber ducky or panda king rolly pollies! They’re so cute!! You’ve opened my eyes to a whole new world. I’ve always only seen the regular little gray blue fellas. I didn’t realize how complicated their environments need to be for successful reproduction. You sir, are truly a good person. Thanks so much for caring for these overlooked creatures 😁
