La Menace Records is a new and passionate underground label from Paris. Our very own A&R Quatri is part of this fresh platform under his new alias Racine. The label thrives to release authentic and deep music and tries to be a platform that truly only exists for the love of it. Their first release introduces an array of core artists, mostly coming directly out of the hometown of Paris. Next to our own homeboy, SissCok joins the new crew and delivers a stunning first piece with his "Benjamin Delessert Street" record, which is a twitchy and funky vibe, bringing in lots of short sample cuts, that slowly build the architecture of a groovy and warm rhythm. From atmospheric breaks and snappy bounce sections, this track really shines with its core sound, that is housey and yet experimental, as it does not shy away from an evergrowing groove, that consistently evolves without feeling to full. An honorable debut release of the label and we can't wait to see more.
