I see comments about Chester's voice sounding tired during the OML tour run and I agree he seemed to have been pushing harder during this performance. But, I can't help but feel that considering Chris Cornell's own suicide was weeks before this particular leg of the tour that Chester was performing during an immense grieving period.
Emotionally, he may have not had anything to give but he still tried. I can't imagine how isolating it would have been to have to pull on that mask for your fans night after night while trying to keep it together.
Take care of yourselves, everybody. Reach out if you're drowning and don't ignore it. Depression is insidious and still waters run deep.

My childhood, they saved me from suicide. Their song gave me the strength to get up and move on. The only band who understands how I felt during those times. Depression/Suicide is no joke man, You're fighting yourself constantly, and sometimes they go away but most of the times, they come back. And people do look down on you and say you're so weak, laugh at the thoughts that you have, they don't even understand. Crawling (for me) basically describes how depression is like, I love you Chester, RIP. Thank you for the music. Thank you. Giving us a voice.
