Yesterday, I planned to go to a Lesbian party with an old classmate. When she told me she can't make it, I decided to be courageous and go there on my own. While getting ready (and being nervous af) I listened to this song on repeat. Then I arrived at the bar, I got myself a cocktail and decided to embrace that evening with all its uncertainty and all its possibilities. And you want to know how it ended? I was lucky enough to meet the most beautiful and interesting girl in the room (who went there alone as well), we chose sitting in a quiet corner and talked for hours (about music and art, astrophysics and psychology, superpowers and the importance of being curious). And then we ended up kissing until 3 a.m., completely forgetting that we're in that bar and that people exist. I can tell you, I wanted to travel back in time and thank my past-me for making the decision to go there. Being open to new experience and curious what's beyond the fears that hold you back can lead to wonderful things!
