Imagine pulling off a 30 million dollar heist and then the currency loses its value. Lol

I foresee a recession lasting 2-3 years, and if inflation continues to surge, the Federal Reserve will likely raise interest rates soon. Inflation is causing various issues worldwide, such as food shortages, scarcities of diesel and heating fuel, and significant spikes in housing prices, leading to a potential financial market crash. This global downturn could have long-lasting repercussions. Given the current inflation rate of approximately 9%, my main worry is how to optimize my savings and retirement fund, which has remained stagnant at around $300,000, yielding almost no gains for quite some time.

All fiat currencies fail eventually. History repeats.

Libya or Gaddafi wanted to get countries to switch to gold, no dice.

As a middle-class citizen who is trying to have stable finances, I’ve always been an advocate of investing in the stock market because it has paid off handsomely since I got into it.

The Federal Reserve has been printing 40% of all US dollars ever printed in the last 12 months, which is a significant increase in the money supply.

this is why many people are buying as much gold, silver, & other physical goods that have value outside of the USD that last ... a dozen eggs has a certain value... the more money that is printed the more of the printed money is necessary for that dozen eggs.

This is why it's so important to have gold and silver. Whoever is reading this, protect your wealth with gold and silver, it's a safe haven and a hedge against inflation.

Wake up, it’s not what if, it’s when.

Get ready. Our government doesn't care if the dollar loses all it value. They want it, too, so they can roll out the digital dollar. It's just a matter of time.

You mean when it collapses, not if.

I would contend that the U.S. Dollar as a reserve currency does NOT have long to live. (and I'm a patriot and a war veteran) because the unserviceable debt and deficits will threaten to crash or hyperinflate the currency in the near term.

Printing money with no backing. Raising inflation to insane rates. Making life harder for citizens as the cost of goods skyrocket. We’re still talking about Russia right? It’s just a scenario that feels oddly familiar. Figured I’d check.

Trying to topple the dollar would probably result in a stock exchange crash. Remember how much fun that was for the whole world in the 1930s? And that was BEFORE the dollar was the official reserve currency. Imagine what a crash would do now that every major country holds billions and trillions of dollars.
