Next time, cube the cheese and sausage and alternate them, then you get a bite of both cheese and sausage instead of half cheese and then sausage.

I live next to three places that serve these Korean dogs. I can feel my life getting progressively better and shorter.

He's actually right about Korean style corn dogs changing your life man. There's a Korean place near me called Bang Bang Chicken and ever since I had that potato corn dog from heaven, I can never stop thinking about

Korean corn dogs are soooo good when covered in granulated sugar and dipped in ketchup and mustard! It sounds weird but that's how I had it in South Korea and it was amazing.

If I made the korean corndog, I would probably cut the cheese and sausage into bite-sized pieces, and then alternate them on the skewer, so you get a more balanced experience of cheese and sausage. Then again, maybe that would make the bits lose integrity so they'd fall apart in the oil.

With me being a very simple cook I in turn tend to cook very simple meals. I always watch these and say hey I could make that but I never do.... Until today. I manned up and took my list to the store and got all the stuff to make both style corn dogs. They were a smashing success... I feel like my rather simple chef self evaluation has shot all the way to where I feel like I could run a line at a Michelin star restaurant. This is an exciting high I'll enjoy it while it lasts. Thanks for this and now I'll start doing other recipes and maybe even get that cookbook. The sky is the limit, thanks for the boost Josh and corn dogs.

Look I'm from Seoul and these hot dogs (yes they are called hot dogs, not corn dogs in korea) are EVERYWHERE. When I had a Korean hot dog for the first time it tasted like nothing compared and these are only a few cents on the streets. And josh u nailed it my guy Edit: Thanks yall for 1000 likes. Most amount I ever got in my life 😆🤣

I just made these!! Both American and Korean and they were FANTASTIC. Korean corndogs are PHENOMENAL. I never thought they would be THESE good. And the sauce really elevated the taste so much!!

You convinced me to go eat a Korean corn dog. I was like eh, it’s just a wiener on a stick with some cheese. No… it is so much more than that. And now I know because of you. Will get that next time as I do have a Korean corn dog place that just opened up near me.

It's a pretty accurate koreadog. My only particular criticism having had these from Seoul. They don't really do a super fancy sauce for the dog unless it's in a particular restaurant ((Yes, Korea idolizes hot dogs so much you can end up getting them in an extravagant restaurant.)) They intentionally will leave sauces separate and drizzle it over. Usually a combination of ketchup + mayo + mustard. A lot of the "carts" will do the halfsies, but my personal favorite korea dog hailed from this . . . I just want to call it a truck stop? It had tons of little food shops all over the place. Instead of doing a half and half, they essentially created multiple segments so it'd be like sausage, mozz, sausage, mozz, sausage, mozz. I don't know what else they did, but it was a truly phenomenal dog. Regardless, the replication was pretty accurate. Korea food is pretty delicious and simplistic and always worth giving a try.

A vlog of Josh in Seoul trying all the street food things would be so fun to watch. I would be so jealous! Wish I could go back. Best street food ever.
