Ant definitely reminds me of Jordan. Similar physical profiles, nth level athleticism, beautiful style of play, even his skin complexion. Still, there are marked differences of things that probably don't change much starting with: 1. Hand size. It's mentioned in this video and it definitely played a part in MJs ball fake ability, steals and ball handling/low turnover rate. In terms of outside shooting (where Ant is probably beyond Jordan) smaller hands work to Ant's advantage. 2. Primacy. Ant just doesn't shoot as much as Jordan did this early in his career. He still has nights where he'll go 6-14. Jordan's mentality was "at least go 6-25" and never stop shooting. It's probably because Ant's team is much better and more balanced than those early Bulls. KG is probably right that he may average 30 on a crappy team. His lack of extreme primacy may sometimes cause... 3. Inconsistency. Ant delivers most nights but he still has nights where he doesn't influence the game heavily. He has quarters or even halfs where if things aren't goin so well he'll fall to the back a bit. He can absolutely improve this part of his game. 4. Movement without the ball. Jordan got 3 years of Dean Smith. He knew how to get open in the midrange as much as the perimeter and with Ant playing in today's game, the emphasis is more on getting open for 3 pointers. Ant can and will improve here too.
