Walking through the grocery store today and this song comes on. I swear it had to be Chris Isaak. Come home and search it up. It is indeed him. I love him so much. I have several CDs from so long ago. Saw him in concert. Thank God I can still hear him on you tube.

I saw him in concert last year and he told the story behind this song.
While they were recording this album, they would take a break, usually about the same time each day. And this beautiful woman would often pass by. So he wrote this song, wondering how a guy like him could meet this beautiful woman, way out of his league. What would he say? And knowing that it would never work.
